- Fake The Attack-
Formed November 2009 from Hampshire, South England.
We thought this band would be a good idea because the group would like to focus on an alternative/ rock genre orientated band. The other good point of this band is that it has a female lead singer, meaning we could film our group for the video. However this band has quiet an American sound and we just we're feeling especially excited about creating a music video for this band.
- Horns become Halos-
Recorded Label: None
Once again we were quite interested in this band as they had an alternative genre to them and we had some very interesting ideas for a video. However a lot of their songs have a lot of instrumental and w thought this would be quite difficult to film, unless we did a narrative based video.
- Raven-face-
Record Label: Unsigned.
Formed in 2007 from Northern England
With This band we had some great ideas that work well with this genre and the concepts for this genre. And we decided on using this band in the end.
I have contacted the artists via Facebook for permission to use their songs. I did this because, even though they are an unsigned band, i felt it best to ask and because it shows one of the platforms for how bands get through to their fans. Here are the messages:-
- Kaya Brenna Parsons.Hi Raven-face. i am a current media student and for our A2 coursework we have to make a music video. It would be amazing if you would allow my group and i to use one of your songs. We are not sure which song to use yet but if you agree we would keep you updated. Thanks very much and have a good weekend.
